Child Dental Benefit Schedule

Tatura Dental Care is fully registered with Medicare and the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS). If your child qualifies, we can bulk bill up to $1,026 in basic dental care—meaning no out-of-pocket cost on the day.

How the CDBS Works

• Who’s covered? Children aged 2–17 who receive Family Tax Benefit Part A or another eligible government payment at any time during the year.
• What’s included? Check-ups, x-rays, cleans, fissure seals, fillings, root canals, extractions and partial dentures.
• What’s not? Orthodontic, cosmetic or hospital-based procedures.

Easy Next Steps

• Check your letter or MyGov. — Human Services confirms eligibility each January and notifies you.
• Call us. — Book an initial exam and we’ll create a personalised treatment plan.
• Relax. — We lodge the claim directly with Medicare, so you pay nothing upfront.
