We make every effort to control the costs of your dental care. Of course, dental conditions vary in complexity and severity. Before any work is performed, you will receive a detailed estimation of the complete fee.
We also provide HICAPS for those patients who belong to participating health insurers. HICAPS is Australia's leading electronic claims and payments system, which offers patients the convenience of automatic claims processing on the spot, in the practice. HICAPS can save time and money for healthcare providers and patients alike, by providing an efficient and easy payment processing solution for health funds, Medicare and WorkSafe Victoria payments across Australia.

To keep our fees as reasonable as possible for you, we require that all your accounts be settled on the day of treatment. We accept cash, personal cheque, most major credit cards and EFTPOS cards. If you have any concerns, please discuss them with our practice manager, Jo.
Child Dental Benefit Schedule
Tatura Dental Care is fully registered with Medicare and the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS). If your child qualifies, we can bulk bill up to $1,026 in basic dental care—meaning no out-of-pocket cost on the day.
How the CDBS Works
- Who’s covered? Children aged 2–17 who receive Family Tax Benefit Part A or another eligible government payment at any time during the year.
- What’s included? Check-ups, x-rays, cleans, fissure seals, fillings, root canals, extractions and partial dentures.
- What’s not? Orthodontic, cosmetic or hospital-based procedures.

- Check your letter or MyGov. — Human Services confirms eligibility each January and notifies you.
