Dr Nihir Shah, (BDS, Bristol UK)
Principal Dentist
As the principal dentist at Tatura Dental Care, Dr Nihir Shah provides clinical care with a focus on empathy, clear communication and patient comfort. His role extends beyond patient care to leadership within the practice. He supports and mentors colleagues, promotes professional growth and oversees daily operations to help maintain high clinical standards. By fostering a collaborative and supportive environment, he aims to contributes to a positive workplace culture where the team works together to provide patients with great experiences.
Dr Shah chose a career in dentistry because of his interest in science combined with his passion for caring for people. Dentistry has enabled him to combine practical skills with meaningful patient interactions. Dr Shah completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in Bristol, United Kingdom. Dr Shah has been practising dentistry since 2011 and joined Tatura Dental Care in 2025. His professional interests include building strong patient relationships and guiding individuals through dental treatment in a way that reduces anxiety and builds trust. He also enjoys mentoring team members and encouraging their development.
Away from the clinic, Dr Shah enjoys tennis, soccer, photography and gardening. He has previously coached a local under-7s soccer team. A unique hobby of his is playing chess with international players online, and he occasionally enters tournaments. Dr Shah has a lifelong passion for wildlife and photography, which was strongly influenced by his upbringing in Africa.
Dr Ross Musolino, BDS (Adel.)
Dentist
Dr Ross brings nearly four decades of dental experience to Tatura Dental Care, having graduated from what he proudly calls 'the best dental school in Australia': the University of Adelaide. Since beginning his career in 1987, Dr Ross has combined clinical excellence with a genuine passion for people. He joined the Tatura Dental Care team in 2025, drawn by the opportunity to connect with a new community and make a difference through compassionate, personalised care.
For Dr Ross, dentistry has always been a family affair. Inspired by his cousin, a dentist who practiced well into his seventies, and encouraged by his parents, he pursued a career that allows him to blend technical skill with heartfelt human connection. He especially enjoys learning about his patients and the world around them.
